Girls are warriors. The Hypatia Project
Women are fighters...
as well as engineers (and scientists, technologists, mathematicians...).
The Hypatia Project
From the 18th of April to the 30th of September 2018. Exhibition extended until October 7th.
Is it necessary to reflect on the role of women in science and technology? What are STEM professions? Do we know of any women inventors? Can toys influence children when it comes to choosing a career? What relationship is there between emoticons and women who choose STEM professions?
These are some of the questions this exhibit will try to answer. The exhibition came about through the National Museum of Natural Sciences' (MNCN) participation in The European Hypatia Project which is mainly directed at young individuals. Our aim is to inspire young women to explore the possibility of a professional career in science and technology. The Hypatia Project
