Investigación

We study animal social behaviour and the mechanisms underlying its plasticity. Essentially, we are interested in questions such as how flexible decision rules are in social interactions and how these rules are modulated by ontogenetic effects and environmental changes. To explore these questions, we use family life as a model social environment. Our current work combines experimental and phylogenetic comparative approaches, and focuses mainly on wild birds.
