Investigación
I am a research biologist widely interested in human-wildlife conflicts. My main research lines are i) the ecological consequences of light pollution; ii) the effects of marine debris on organisms and ecosystems; and iii) the natural history of insular birds, particularly those from my natal place, the Canary Islands. As study models, I mainly use raptors and seabirds, although I have also conducted some studies in fields such as herpetology, botany, and ecology.
