I am an ecologist specializing in freshwater fishes, with a particular interest in understanding how environmental change shapes aquatic biodiversity and ecosystem function. My research focuses on the ecological impacts of hydrological alteration, global change, and biological invasions, aiming to identify the mechanisms through which these stressors affect freshwater communities. I integrate field studies, ecological modeling, and biogeographical analyses to explore species-environment relationships across spatial and temporal scales. Additionally, I am deeply interested in the historical and environmental factors that govern species distributions, with the goal of informing effective conservation and management strategies in a rapidly changing world.
